almost like I watched a movie not a live concert.
but it also felt so slick and engineered (even more so than a U2 show which is saying something) that I don't feel any desire to need to see them again.
Overall, it was a good show, lots of highlights including The Scientist, Fix You, VLV, Sky Full of Stars. Trying way to hard to be Pink Floyd-esque and failing miserably. Coloratura is a weak song live, and terrible closer. House lights took a while to come on and I was surprised there was no encore (even though Chris Martin warned several times about this being the last song). I think most were disappointed in the brevity of the show. so a good positive atmosphere from the crowd in general. Almost everyone on their feet 90% of the night (I was in seats, lower section 26 just off the floor). That said, it was also very loud and high energy. unlike any crowd I have seen at any live show.
This was not a rock show crowd, this was just. Partly that is Seattle but very very different than any U2 show I have been at. Seemed to be very pop-heavy audience, lots of Asian / Indian origin in attendance. The live performance, with the boy band on screen, was dreadful. Coldplay recorded the album from early to mid 2015, right after the completion of their previous album Ghost Stories, with a markedly. It was released on 4 December 2015, by Parlophone in the United Kingdom, and by Atlantic Records in the United States. Let's hope U2 never go anywhere near this type of crap. A Head Full of Dreams is the seventh studio album by the British rock band Coldplay. My Universe, and the BTS collab in general, is pathetic. Even the weak Higher Power was a good way to kick off, and it came off better live than on record. He keeps himself in shape and it shows, Bono could learn a few things from him. Connected really well with the audience throughout the show. The show started off with a bang, very high energy and I will admit, Chris Martin is a very strong front man and very good live. They played for ~90 minutes, which was way too short a show for the $$$ they were charging.
First time seeing CP and it will probably be my last, unless I get a free ticket or something. The Music of the Spheres Tour - kicking off March 18th, 2022 in Costa Rica - aims to cut direct emissions from Coldplay’s last tour in 2017 by 50%, as well as power each show entirely by renewable, super-low emission energy that includes installing solar panels at each venue, “kinetic stadium floor and kinetic bikes powered by fans,” and transporting around a mobile, rechargeable show battery to store the energy.Quote from: SlyDanner on October 23, 2021, 05:54:03 PM I went to see Coldplay last night at the grand opening of the new Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. To support the album, Coldplay has announced a 2022 “sustainable and low-carbon” tour that will bring the new LP to stadiums around the world. The appearance follows Coldplay’s performance of “Let Somebody Go” with Selena Gomez and “My Universe.” The songs come off the band’s ninth album, Music of the Spheres, which dropped last week. The singers shared vocals with frontman Chris Martin on the track, performed on the late night show’s stage without the rest of the band.
Coldplay continued their week-long residency at The Late Late Show with a collaborative performance of “Human Heart,” featuring guest appearances from We Are King and Jacob Collier.
